Its been awhile but, honestly, there hasn’t been much news to speak of! But what there is of it is here - along with the feedback that we never posted from Episode 40.
We’ve got over 100 comments still waiting to be recorded, but they’re going to get their own episode
In this episode we discuss:
- Day Jobs on CoH Titan Wiki
- City of Heroes Holiday Promotion!
- 12.9.08 Instability Issues
- Patch Notes 12.9.08
- NCSoft posted a position for a new Community Coordinator
- Atari purchases Cryptic Studios
- Everquest I & II players now able to buy virtual goods in-game with real money
- Episode 40 feedback
- The Wholly Unofficial and Fairly Incomplete Guide to /BIND (thanks Skye Rocket!)
- Promo: Scott Sigler’s Contagious
The good news: Viv and I recorded 3 hours of content for the show! This included news about i13 on test, with some of the coming features, the third installment of Fantastic Foes IO feature, and plenty of feedback.
The bad news: A nemesis plot has been unleashed to stop this content from seeing the light of day. Dark operatives have doused our beloved Macbook with soda rendering it inoperative!!
Our best scientists have the device dismantled and are fastidiously working to save it. Another group of top agents are mounting a data recovery mission. They are attempting to get the harddrive to an extraction point so that the contents can be rendered to a Windows compatible drive so that they can then be edited.
Fear not, fair listeners, the content WILL be saved. How long, however, is a mystery only time will bear out.

This is just a quick check-in that the episode will post later this week. Thanks to everybody who came out for the listener meet-up! It was a lot of fun and great to virtually meet so many of you!
In case anybody tried to surf around the site or register tonight; sorry about any problems. I was doing some major testing on forums, blog, and gallery integration.
I wasn’t completely satisfied with the results, so I just reverted everything back to the was it was before I started messing with it. I have a lot of editing and real world work to do tomorrow, so not sure if I’ll be able to work on it again until mid-week.
I just noticed that the site looks kinda goofy in Internet Explorer 6 right now. I’m a Firefox user and frequently forget to check IE compatibility. I just so happened to check and - yikes..
Yeah, I’ll work on that. but not tonight, its bedtime!
