Episode 48 – i15 Launch and i16 Details

Happy July (shhhh – its still technically July!) Lots of exciting things have been happening in CoHLand and we’re happy to bring you an episode chock full of newsy goodness!

In this episode we discuss:

Episode 47 – Going Rogue and Beyond

This outing we discuss:

Listener Meet-Up #4

Yeah, I know, another fake-out post without any big content…

Since we weren’t able to get the next episode out like we planned to this week I wanted to at least get an announcement out to everybody.

By the power of loophole – we are happy to bring you Listener Meetup IV: A New Hope!

We were thinking that it would be cool to make this another “Pimp My Arc” event and run through some listener generated content!

So, here are the deets:
We’ll meet up on Guardian ServerAtlas Park Galaxy City – Architect Entertainment Building at 2pm Eastern on Sunday, June 28th.

which is:

  • 1pm Central
  • Noon Mountain
  • 11 am Pacific
  • 10 am Alaska, or
  • 10:30am Monday in Tehran

Plan to goof around, chat and catch up for 30-45 minutes, and then start running arcs. In the past the events have lasted about 2 hours, so that’s what we’ll shoot for — essentially, if you come late, don’t worry about it — just say hi when you get there and jump onto a team to run an arc!

Hope to see you there!!

Quick Note

I wanted to make everyone aware of additional recordings of Balticon panels that Viv and I participated on.

I didn’t feel right about dropping these directly into either of our podcast feeds since they contain no gaming, parenting, or blending content πŸ™‚ They are focused on podcasting/recording/audio techie stuff.

You can check them out over at my new site Random Acts of Chooch. The three panels contain different combinations of me, Viv, Scott Sigler, PG Holyfield, MAinPA, Thomas “Command Line” Gideon, Dan the Fan, Nobilis Reed, Marc “Grailwolf” Bailey, Heather Welliver, and Tyler Waldeman.

New CoH specific content is Coming Soonβ„’

Nonisode 2 – ITB Live from Balticon

Viv and I are proud to bring you our first live show ever. We recorded an episode of our Into The Blender podcast over Memorial Day weekend at Balticon. ITB is our podcast that is a family journal of sorts.

In this episode we do talk about gaming (video and otherwise), so we thought it would be OK to cross post to CoH Podcast. There’s no CoH News or CoH specific content, so feel free to skip this one if you are a hater of teh fluff.

A special thanks to everybody that came out and participated! You truly made this a special event for us!

Balticon43 Techno

I wrote this song to highlight Balticon 43 and our New Media Party as well as some great podcast and web comic creators. Enjoy!

Oh and feel free to include it in your own show if you’re a podcaster πŸ™‚

Balticon43 NMP Promo 1

This is our first promo for the New Media Party at Balticon. We’ll be producing at least one more promo and will be linking them on our Balticon page over at our other site.

Head over there for details on where we’ll be during the con as well as the unfolding details of the New Media Costume Party that we’ll be hosting!

Episode 46 – i14: Architect Release + News and Stuff

We are pleased to bring you the i14 patch notes, along with a few announcements and news items!

Here’s the linkage:

Episode 45 – Too Tired For a Title

Well the show notes are a week late, but the audio is the important part, right? Right?? πŸ™‚

In this episode we discuss:

By the way, the pie was epic WIN!

Pardon Our Dust

It seems that our web host updated something which broke the podcast feed. Since there were a whole bunch of things that I’ve been meaning to update/fix that would have disrupted the feed as well, I’m taking the opportunity to address them all now.

One nasty side effect (which I absolutely hate as a listener) is that it may have caused the feed to puke up every episode as if they were new. I’m really, really sorry if it hits you. It’s something that happens now and then with podcast feeds πŸ™

At this point, I think that I have the feed updated and working correctly. That was priority 1, so now I can start working on the other stuff. None of this other stuff should effect the feed, but it means that the site will be plain vanilla for awhile, and you might have some login errors until it stabilizes. I’m particularly worried about the integration between the blog, forum, and photo gallery. I’ll get the problems sorted out as quickly as I can!

Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.
