You two obviously had fun doing this part two and it really showed in the cast. Lots of laughs, lots of giggles, and a real pleasant listen too.

The following is a message from one of your imaginary friends …

Best … Podcast … Ever … and not just because I was in it.

Is that what I sound like on podcast? Ugh! I think I much prefer to hear Viv read my words than hear myself fumbling them. *grin*

Thanks for the vocal kudos. I ‘am’ a trained military journalist, after all. Your tax dollars at work. I recorded it using the shareware program Goldwave and a headset microphone.

Thanks for the advice on podiobooks. I’ve been busy rewriting some superhero fiction and I will certainly take you up on your offer to be characters.

I liked hearing how you guys manage your enhancements. I waited until level 12 to slot enhancements into ‘The Psight’, and I really didn’t see any negative effects on gameplay. At low levels, the enhancements just don’t seem to help that much, so why waste the influence? I will always slot Accuracy first on an attack power. The way I see it, who cares how much damage you can do if you can’t hit the little buggers!

I remember the fast-talking guy on from the Micro-Machine commercials! His name is John ‘Motormouth’ Moschitta (Moe-Sheeta) Junior and he also did the voice of Blurr in the original Transformers animated movie. He has also recently reprised that role in the new ‘Transformers: Animated’ series. He’s credited as being one of the world’s fastest takers. And now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

IRC would be great! I’m in Japan, so I’m severely disconnected from everyone else’s time zone. But I’m up early most mornings, which is late afternoon on the East Coast. It would be cool to chat with some Pod Caste members in real time!

I have not tried Puzzle Quest either, but some other fun mini-games I enjoy include RocketBowl, Airport Mania, Pizza Frenzy, Chuzzle, Peggle and Fashion Solitaire (Viv, you might really like this one).

Fear the wrath of Pod Kong, the evil iTunes monkey! All your bananas are belong to him.

BTW: ‘Bulbous Bouffant’ is a comedy sketch/song by Radio Free Vestibule. You can hear it on YouTube. (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=8xNZfQcSf4U)

Fun Recipes: Try stuffed bell peppers with layers of cheese like lasagna. Made it just the other night and it was delicious! This inspired me to create my latest alt: Bella Pepper - Sonic/Fire Blaster.

Just finished listening to the podcast on my way home, loved the fact that you're going to do a large segment on the Shard, one of my favorite places.

I'll start doing IO set research for a submission...

Hey guys! Great podcast as usual.

I'm really looking forward to seeing and buying a CoH Podcast T-shirt to show off to all my friend. Does the company you're using allow individual customization of the shirts? I think it would be cool to have my Podcast name or even a pic of my PodCaste toon on the shirt.

Transcendence Trial? What's that? OH, in the Hollows! You see, I usually skip the Hollows all together (I remember when the zone first appeared and it seemed horrendously overpowered. In retrospect, I think they were trying to encourage teaming at lower levels). The one time I tried running through all the missions, I leveled out of the range for the trial on the mission before I had access to it. Ugh.

Viv, the reason the patch note about the 48-month veteran pet says 'really' at the end is because the were supposed to have fixed it a couple of patches ago. 'Supposed' being the operative term.

I say 'Moo', not 'Myou'. But that one could seriously go either way. *smiley*

I can't go to HeroCon either! And it's even in my sister-in-law's hometown! Double Wah. They should fly you guys out there for free.

I love vague 80's movie references.

"Greetings Professor Falken. A strange game. The only winning move is NOT to play. How about a nice game of chess?" -Joshua (a.k.a. WOPR), WarGames, 1983

Try this one: "We're ALL unusually 'large' and 'strong' here."

Great Macro & Keybind tips! I didn't know you could edit a macro after creation. Now that I know that, I might use them a little more.

I currently have a macro on my primary toon that says 'Please put your seats and tray tables in their full upright position,' before executing Recall Friend. *chuckle*

Looking forward to Pt. 2.

Woohoo. I got half of a podcast named after one of my comments. Today is the proudest day of my life. Loved the character bio voice mails - great job on those guys. Can't wait to hear more. Maybe I'll call in Skye's bio sometime if I'm ever feeling heroic enough.
Viv - if you do make a character named Knupple - just googled the word and it turns out 'knupple' is Dutch for club or truncheon, so I think a War Mace tanker would be the appropriate AT. She could wack people with her mighty magical knupple and then let loose with her dreaded battle cry: "My knupple HURTS!" (OK, that's my last knupple comment. I'm moving on now. I swear.)

Voici! Le caste vingt-neuf plus 2 que nous aimons beaucoup! (roughly translated: "Yay, new cast") You can expect a bio for Sci Fist forthcoming forthwith on the fourth day of the fourtnight. For shame, please forgive my forebearance, but you are now forewarned and forearmed. For the Greater Good!

Mr. Foe, May I call you Fantastic? Mr. Foe, a belated happy birthday!

This is my first post here but I enjoy hearing Chooch and Viv read them every week so I needed to get in on the fun. It is almost as fun hearing Mr. Foe and Mr. Hickmans posts as it is hearing the cast itself. So I wanted to thank you, Mr. Foe and Mr Hickman, and of course Chooch and Viv for the entertainment. It helps pass my time at work.

As of everything else...I know it is a few weeks behind but as for you "holding out the promo fo the special people" in ep28, well, my mother held out a promo on me once...once.

(*obscureish johnny dangerously reference*)

Viv don't let anyone tell you different, my wife and I both say Shi-van like you do too. Well, I look forward as always to the next cast and cannot wait to read the next round of banter from the esteemed messers Foe and Hickman!

Well, I just heard from Zloth that my video (the "Incarnate" trailer about Recluse and Statesman) got a mention on the podcast so I had to come running over here to listen to it. And I just want to say THANK YOU GUYS for saying such nice things about it! I was very happy with how it turned out... and yes, I AM entering that machinima contest. :D

Oh, yeah... one more thing. It's pronounced sam-uh-rye-KOH (like Coke). Don't worry, a lot of folks get it wrong. I've gotten used to it by now.

Cheers!

Super useful. After two years I finally started trying to understand binds and macros when I started playing my warshade. Intimidating stuff for me. Can't wait for the show notes.
Oh, and sorry about the 'knuckle' thing Viv. My sense of humor stopped maturing several years before the rest of me.

I'll post a longer response to the cast later, gang, but I wanted to address the issue of parody as fair use. Yes, parody is allowed under the law as "fair usage," but only for a limited use/time. Here's an example from the comics, which is my area of knowledge: Dave Sim had a comic called Cerebus the Aardvark which was quite popular. For a while in it, he had a character named "Wolveroach" who was clearly a parody of Marvel's Wolverine. That was valid as a parody. HOWEVER, when that parody went on for several issues, Marvel got their lawyers on it. Heck, five decades ago Mad Magazine did "Superduperman" and that was fine, but had EC Comics come out with a regular monthly Superduperman comic, there might have been trouble.

Within the context of the game, if you appear as Spidery-Man for a night, you'd probably be ok (there wouldn't be time for you to be genericed anyway), but if you're playing him up to level 50, that's A LOT of time and exposure, and would hardly be limited usage.

Like I said, more shortly, but you got on a subject that, as the regular readers of the CoH boards can tell you, is near and dear to my heart (which is three sizes too small).

Thanks Chooch for clearing up the channel name, and thanks for the great bind/macro cast. I'll check out your samples and the links.

New member here, been listening since Hero 1 interview. First off, way to go Viv for pronouncing "Machinima" correctly, not once, but twice! Way to go! Secondly, really glad to hear Choochie choochie choo do a focus section on Binds/Macros. Everyone knows me in my supergroup on Pinnacle as the bind king. Not that I know them all, but I certainly use them. Just FYI, while you can't make extensive attack chains, you can have 1 button perform 2 attacks, by adding "powexecauto" to the bind/macro(ie. powexecname brawl$$powexecauto sands of mu). Its very helpful to keep your attack chain moving along. Thanks again, keep up the good work, now where's that "Donate" button....

Oh - and its "Podcaste" (no space)... I have taken the appropriate amount of debt; sorry about that.

Troy,

Wouldn't the "Chooch & Viv Experience" (presented in High Definition and Low Pronunciation) have to be a TWO-person show? I'm just saying. And which of them would you prefer to play? You know you wanna be Viv.

Viv,

Watch out, Troy might be after your job ... Nay, your life!

Hey there's been some confusion about the global channel. I joined "Pod Caste" (with a space, as Chooch said in this episode) and have not seen much traffic in there except for people asking if it's the right channel. Then I joined "Podcaste" (without the space) and saw a few in there. So, which channel is it, you'se guys?!?

What a great cast! I've listened to this one until I've literally memorized it by rote, and I will soon be performing it as a one-man off-Broadway show entitled "The Chooch and Viv Experience"...

Looking forward to the t-shirts, especially since I'm on this diet and won't have to buy a size 14X anymore (I'm just now to the point where I no longer have to wash myself with a rag on a stick!).

Do I have a "racy comment" in Twilight Guardian? I thought it was pretty G-rated. Now I'm going to have to go back through and make sure I didn't suddenly drop the f-bomb in public. It's happened before, and I was massively embarrassed. And so was my pastor.

I will most definitely mail those copies out to the winners, and if they have a cool car and a hot tub, they may also receive a huge, one might even say "man-sized" box full of goodies. But for gosh sakes, open it quick, or at least poke an airhole in it!

Thank you for the rest of the Invention Enhancement info. It always seems so much simpler when you guys explain it. Maybe next time you could also have that talk with me that my parents never did about where babies come from.

Yes, Wordsmythe, I'm not the ONLY one who thought Viv said "nipples." At first I thought alienation of affection was playing tricks on my airplane glue-deteriorated brain, but I went back and listened a few times, and with each listen I was more and more sure she had forgotten she was on the mic. And with each listen, I just laughed and laughed and laughed. And then I felt kind of bad about making such a ridiculous assumption...until I listened again and just laughed and laughed and laughed.

Thank you both very much for giving me a few hours of great infotainment this week. You guys are the cat's pajamas, the bee's knees, and even the wombat's prostate exam. Keep on rockin' in the free world!

Re: Pronunciation

To quote Jose Japelaneo on a Stick: "Ees my job."

I've had to point out to younger disc jockeys that it's "Len'rd Skin'rd" and not "Lie-nard Sky-nard", "Bob See-gar" instead of "Bob Seg-ar", and "Die-doh", not "Dee-doe".

More on pronunciation. There are a lot of Hmong families where I live and I asked one of my neighbor ladies if tsoo is a real Hmong word and how it's pronounced. She said it means hit or crush and pronounced it something like 'jong' but with a longer o sound.

Word-Smythe,

I was also considering calling Chooch out on Sheevan, the way I would pronounce it, instead of Shivvan, the way he seems to be pronouncing it.

But since I also was all over them on Bainsidhe, and insisting its roo-LAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR-oo instead of ROO-la-roo, I'm glad you went ahead instead of me.

"Grittins, ma nahm is kahlfin." One of my favorite Calvin & Hobbes quotes.

OMG! Viv said my global name! First she gets it right, then wrong, then right again, then wrong again. Make up your mind woman! Just Kidding; but I prefer the olde English pronunciation: Word-Smythe not Word-Smith.

I love hearing Viv say funny words: Gazebo, Plethora, Foible, Bulbous Boofant (smile if you know the reference)

Great podcast guys! Chooch is right to want to visit Alaska one day. It's wonderful, and the free money is better than a poke in the eye!

What does 'wiped' mean?

Viv, I could have SWORN you said 'Ow, my nipples hurt' at one point, but repeated replays and the sound of a 'pop' convinced me you said 'My knuckles hurt.'

Regarding in-game advertisements: I think phase five might involve introducing trademark logos as chest insignias. I can finally create a speedster named 'Ekin' with a nice 'swoop' on his chest!

Chooch, I checked dictionary.com, and it says that 'Shiva' is pronounced 'Sheeva', so I think they should be 'Sheevans'. Potato, potato; Tomato, tomato.

I'm currently building the Psight with Invention Enhancements only. However, there are certain salvage pieces that just won't drop, and they're still expensive at Wentworths. I think we should be able to straight-up buy Salvage somewhere. That would probably destroy the economics of Wentworths, but hey!

Sitting at level 13 and standing by to dive into the Troll Caves (where I've never actually been).

-Write on!

PS: If I ever get published, would you two read my superhero podiobook?

Also: Although you can get Council missions from the very beginning (at least for Natural heroes) the Vampyri and Warwolves don't spawn that early. I think that Striga is the first place that they will be spawning (or Radio or contact Council missions in that same level range)

Awesome! You guys read my voicemail!

And to clarify: I didn't mean to "diss", as it were, you two; I just didn't want to be so bold as to presume your age. So I gave myself a very very VERY broad range.

I also did not hear the promo, got a bit of blank space that made me think I messed up the download somehow, heh.

PS: I also love that you read the patch notes. Viv's voice is much nicer to listen to than my inner monologue. (Which I finally got back after the un-freezing process :) )

Hey guys. Great cast. :) It was really cool that you implemented the "selective promo" where only the worthy folk could hear it, but I was a little bummed that I didn't make the cut. :) Keep up the good work, and I hope y'all make it to DragonCon!

That was good, but I would like for you to do a more in depth 14 hour show detailing every possible combination of enhancements and comparing the various permutations of power bonuses and costs of each, specifically contrasting costs of recipes as opposed to crafted enhancements, with a short discussion of history of salvage costs, and making recommendations to each listener for their specific build as to exactly at what level to purchase and slot (we can all send you our builds) and, if it is not too much trouble, could you list the best order to buy each piece of each IO set and why? ...In your spare time?

I can't believe you guys! What a great cast! Seriously, I appreciate all the work you put into each episode.

I found 4 or 5 of the shoe ad billboards in Boomtown yesterday. That place is a wreck and there even was a half destroyed billboard where it had fallen off of a wall onto the ground. I found it amusing.

It was awesome to come home from our mini-vacation to a new 'cast. The wife and I are listening as we dispense justice throughout Paragon City now. Very happy to hear your nephew is doing well, good luck and speedy recovery wishes to him. Got goosebumps when I heard the comments regarding my base, TYVM :) Talk to you all later.

There are a lot of tricky pronounciations in this game. Rularuu, Lanaruu (does it sound different than Lanaru the Mad?), Ruladak The Strong, Faathim the Kind, Oranbega, Caleb, Lilitu, Pwnz... on and on!

But think about it, how often do you hear a dev pronounce these? Now how often do you hear Chooch & Viv pronounce them? Yeah, thought so. Thanks to human (et al.) psychology, we're going to be pronouncing the words C&V's way in no time. When most people pronounce a word a certain way then that way is the prefered pronounciation. We outnumber the devs by plenty to one. Hence, C&V's pronounciations are definitive. QED. :)

A Baker's Dozen of Comments

1) Glad to hear RD is recovering well. Yay!
2) Ooooh! Contest. I'll be sending my submission.
3) Next meet-up I think I'll try setting up a tab with all the channels in it, global, sg, coalition and team. I'd didn't know where to look.
4) Also, did someone post a bind that would add your forum or character name in global chat? I think I remember seeing it somewhere on here.
5) If you ever make a Villain Group I totally call the name 'Death Crack'.
6) Was there missing promo? I got about a minute of dead silence right before the IO talk.
7) I like to make lists.
8) Re the comment on mishearing Machimina as Much-Enema. When I first went back and listened to your older episodes I couldn't figure out why you kept playing a clip of someone saying 'Micheal Vick for President'.
9) Re Roeux-laaa-Rooooo. Other things I don't know how to pronounce: Tsoo, Kheldian, Ouroboros.
10) Great tidbit of the show: I had no idea you could use the crafting tables and invention storage a coalition bases. Thank you!
11) I think Viv's map would make a great show. Maybe we could all help by sending in our favorite content by level.
12) Thanks for getting this out when you were obviously exhausted. Get some sleep next time. We can wait.
13) I really like to make lists.

Great cast guys! As always filled with drama, pathos and some educational stuff for the rest! I however would like to request that from now forward you read the patch notes in French and in between each note Chooch goes "Oh ho ho" with a French flair. Thanks for such wonderfulness and keep on keepin' on!

Thanks for a wonderful podcast. New listener and been on COX for 15 months. I wanted to be at the Listener event but Saturdays before 6pm Pacific is always bad due to my job with the USPS. I am very casual with my play and got too wrapped up in creating toons so my highest level toon is a 21 level Invis/Super Strenght Magic Tanker. I have had trouble with creating my SG. Learning the COX Ettiquette has been a comedy of errors, Especially with this being my first MMO.

Thanks for Everything

"Clarence! Clarence, I want to live!" Oh my. And I thought I was showing my age when some Outcast minion ran off, I cut him down, and announced to the "runner" that there is no sanctuary.

P.S. Yes, you can vote in a Chicago election, but only ONCE per election.

Look Mr. Hickman, if I can call you Mr. Hickman...

Hey Troy, ease up on the non-existing thing. If this is your response to a non-isode, you need to Bizarro-speechify it up instead.

Bizarro speech is so easy, and can be done in two ways...

Hulkish Speech- Me Am Bizarro, me smash puny Hickman's post!

or

The painful to read reverse-speech: Me love when Vooch and Chiv no-post cast-pods! Me no go to u-tunes, no give them 1-star review!

Hmmm, even I'm can't be sure what the above said.

Anyhow, nice to hear from you guys. Sorry Sincere Fake Nemesis could only appear for 1 minute at the meetup, thanks for including me in the Pod Caste SG (even if my Prince of Brass forcefield/energy defender has to rub steam-cleaned shining shoulders with the likes of Troy Hickman, that infamous ne'er-do-well.)

Wait a minute...if this is a nonisode...and I'm posting about it...I...I must not really exist!!! And if I don't exist...I don't have to pay my rent! They can't expect rent from a guy who doesn't really live here...or live anywhere, for that matter! And forget paying taxes...non-existent people don't have to pay taxes (though they do get to vote in Chicago). But...wait...who's going to feed my turtle, Eastman? And who's going to sing "happy birthday" to my kid next month? No! No! I want to live! Clarence! Clarence, I want to live! There's no place like home! There's no place like home!

Regarding the release notes, I prefer that you read EVERYTHING. Between working, driving, exercising, errands, etc., I'm unable to sit down and read that much, so I love being able to keep up on all this stuff just by sticking it in my ear (er, the earbuds, that is).

I would also like you to read aloud my local newspaper, each month's Reader's Digest, and the entirety of War and Peace. OKthxbye.

( time to shamelessly brag... my Fake Nemesis toon Golden Age Nemesis got the Unveiler badge at level 5, just to unlock the Nemesis Rifle. I went to PI and apologized for the "Silver Age Nemesis" sending all the Fakes around. Organized an 8 man team of level bigs who also wanted the badge, and boom boom boom. Nothing is cooler than sniping with the Nem Musket.)

Good cast as always. One thing I would add to future accolade spotlights is what is the appropriate level to try and get them. For example, several of the requisite badges are in hazard zones so there is a minimum requirement. Specific to the Freedom Phalanx you can't really find Fake Nemesis until level 40 so unless you go to special effort to sidekick its really tough to do it before then.

Hey guys,

I love the podcast, but I would respectfully ask that you not read all the release notes. Just the headlines or funny stuff. I mean it's there on the web for us to read. Alternately, you could put in chapter bookmarks on your AAC files so I can skip that and forum post dramatizations.

Since I don't want to be just critical, I really like the guides you usually have. Even the short accolade description was helpful. I'll be getting the Freedom Phalanx Reserve Accolade as soon as I can fire up the third party add-on. Or I mean I would if I was the kind of person who did that...

Wonderful Podcast (so far)! I was attacked by the vicious iTunes Monkey as well (or Pod Kong), and I'm redownloading it now. Nice to see I'm not the only one with this monkey on my back.

Viv - My longest running toon 'Sourceror' has 38 Free Tailor Sessions; 9 from Veteran Badges, and 29 from various free tokens. I've only ever changed his primary costume once, and his secondary costume had a few modifications. But all and all, I'm very satisfied with his current costumes. If only we could transfer free tailor sessions between toons, or give them to friends as gifts!

If you see that somebody is putting together a Rikti Warzone Raid then you'll get those merits in no time! Not at first, but once everybody gets to the ship. People seem to run them most weekends.

Thanks so much for talking about the cool weapons.
Since I listened to this cast I've got the Rularuu, Roman and Rikti swords on my broadsword/dark armour Scrap. He is uber sexay now. ;)
Unfortunately the Talsorian blade is 100 vanguard merits... it feels like its taking forever to get them!

Can't wait to check out the podcast for tomorrow's commute.

Troy, if I may call you Troy...

Mister Hickman, sir, you are not the only one wishing the portable crafting station was more easily accessible. One of my characters has it, and it took so long and cost so much (time and influence), I'm not likely to repeat it.

Before the issue came out with craftable inventions, I had read up that there would be craftable temp powers and a means to earn the ability to craft in the field. I had imagined that this was done as a step further towards character customization, where you could virtually add a new power to your repertoire by getting a mess of recipes for the power, a mess of salvage to craft it, and earn the portable crafting station so when the power runs out, you could take a moment to recraft it.

Sadly, the menu of temp powers is pretty small and unexciting. But my scrappers are all packing pistols... I just need to head back to the Aggrobatcave to reload.

Yes! Truly, it was the greatest broadcast since Orson Welles convinced us all that...uh...enhancement diversification was a good idea...or something...(history is not my forte).

Great job on the veritable cornucopia of topics this time, gang. You were both on your game and in great voice (though, to be honest, I didn't realize Chooch was saying "machinima" until I actually read the word later, so it sounded for all the world like he was saying "much enema"...and that's...well, you know, different).

Hey, am I the only one who wants them to make the portable workbench more easily available (at least as a vet reward, or TF completion deal, or something)? I'm not much of a badge-getter, and man do I hate making my way to a university to craft something. Besides, I have to spend all week teaching at a college; who the heck wants to venture back on-campus when I'm in Paragon City?

I hadn't considered the pronunciation of Rularuu before, but it's a good point that it should be growled. Otherwise it sounds like you're talking about the king of kangaroos: the Rularuu.

Thanks much for again plugging Twilight Guardian. You are truly "las únicas personas que nunca me han llamado cara de caimán" (which loosely translates to "the only people who have never called me 'gator face'").

And thanks again for the great cast. I joke around a lot, but I mean this sincerely: you two make Sonny and Cher look like Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun. Guten Abend, Lieblinge!

Grittins,

WordSmythe here! I'm a new listener and a 48-month veteran of CoH (missed the Beta by 'THAT' much). However, due to my extremely casual gameplay, my highest toon is only Level 34.

I thouroghly enjoy your podcast and I'm having lots of 'I gotta try that!' moments when I'm listening. For instance, on Viv's suggestion, I'm going to check out the Croatoa Taskforce. I solo most of the time, but enjoy a good PUG once in a while.

I'm going to try to make the Listener Meet-Up on the 28th, but because I'm in Japan, I'll need to be up at 3 a.m. Sunday morning! I primarily run on Virtue, but I went to Guardian and created a psychic/mental blaster for the occassion. And Viv; I was able to get him to level 5 in a little more than an hour. I hope I crawl out of bed in time to meet ya'll.

-WordSmythe

PS: Who dared to call you while recording Episode 25? I swear I heard your phone ringing in the background at least twice.

A note about set bonuses & Caps :
The soft caps from ED only apply to enhancements, themselves. Set bonuses are NOT enhancements, so they are not affected by ED. They do obey the hard, AT-determined caps (such as max resistance, etc) like buffs, etc. you get from other players and stacking powers.

Set bonuses do have their own cap though. You can only benefit from a given bonus up to five times. Different values that affect the same attribute are different bonuses for this stacking max (so 5% regen and 10% regen would each stack five times for 75% total)

Great cast!! I finally feel validated for spending Enron size amounts of income on those sets. ...and BTW don't listen to Troy...he wants it...and he KNOWS he wants it...so what IS Frankenslotting anyway...I'm willing to admit I inhaled.

GREAT CAST!!! Good to be back since you two sidetracked me into the 7th Son Universe. BTW, I am not a stickler for pronunciation (but I will phonetic this one out for ya since my wife corrcted all three of us...she IS a teacher)...
Bane Sidhe is actually the etymology of Banshee (Bane Shee...see sidhe is pronounced in Gaelic "Shee") So Bane-Sidhe is Banshee! Wow....sorry but she made me put her .02$ in :)
Incrediburger smothered in Awesomesauce as usual!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

You two have no idea how helpful this cast was! I took a break from the game back before CoV went live, and when I came back just a little over a year ago the Invention system was more than a little overwhelming.

I sort of got it, but just couldn't wrap my head around how the sets worked. I slotted a proc here and there on a few heroes but that was extent of my foray into IO Land.

After listening to the cast on Thursday, it finally clicked.

I took my Cold Defender to WW, and spent almost all her money from selling snowcones and frozen margaritas. Got some nice sets slotted into several of her powers before I ran out of influence, and I could really tell a nice difference while on STF last night!

I can't wait to hear the next installment in the IO series.

Hey hey, still back tracking with the podcasts and just wanted to mention something about the VEATs.
Rich mentioned that the VEATs would fit in well with the villains being referred to as Destined Ones and it does but in a different way then was speculated: It seems that as a VEAT you are one of Arachnos' henchmen and long to become a destined one like the other ATs. So your first mission is to "Alter the Destined One List" to put your name on it so you can be a Destined one as well which I think is more interesting than just being a prison break out. Sorry if this has been covered, like I said before, I'm a late comer and am now catching up. Awesome podcast, it was cool to hear some opinions from a villain-sider since I play Heroes primarily... although he did strike a nerve when he did the "take that, heroes!" after he said that villains actually got 4 VEATs that are better than Hero EATs. That discussion brings the worst out of me heh....

Excellent podcast I listened on my way to Phoenix and it made the trip shorter. I'll have to live without COH for a week and a half and it may kill me.

Thanks for the info on IOs and thanks for a truly faxcinating podcast.
